SEA LIFE Blackpool is an exciting underwater world showcasing over 2,000 marine creatures from around the world. Visitors can journey through 50 different displays featuring everything from tropical sharks and rays to sea turtles, jellyfish, and clownfish. One of the highlights of the aquarium is the Ocean Tunnel, where visitors can walk through an underwater tunnel while surrounded by giant sea creatures.
SEA LIFE Blackpool offers a range of interactive exhibits and activities, including a rock pool experience where visitors can touch and learn about crabs, starfish, and other creatures. There’s also a behind-the-scenes tour where visitors can learn about the care and feeding of the marine animals, and even get the chance to feed some of them themselves.
For those feeling adventurous, there’s the opportunity to dive with sharks in the aquarium’s Ocean Tank. Wheelchairs can access all displays throughout the aquarium and a lift to navigate between the floors. There is tactile signage throughout the aquarium, quiet sessions available and noise cancelling headphones if needed.
There is the option to contact them through SignLive if you need a BSL interpreter.
