Warrington’s new state-of-the-art Youth Zone provides a safe, inspiring place for young people aged 7-19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to spend their leisure time. The Youth Zone is open 7 days a week, offering over 20 activities every night for just 50p per visit, providing thousands of young people somewhere, to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
Springboard Sessions offer inclusive and accessible activities for children and young people. Activities include:
• Sensory play
• Arts & crafts
• Roller skating
• Music
• Baking
• Sports
• Gym
• Martial arts
• Indoor rock climbing
• Quiet play
• Multimedia
• Dance & drama & much more!
Specialist support service offers one-to-one and personal care to young people at the Youth Zone and staff are trained to provide:
• Personal care (including hoisting)
• Feeding support (including MIC-KEY feeding tubes)
• Medication administering
• Epilepsy first aid
• Care needs.
Springboard Sessions
Sunday (no booking required): – 11am – 3pm
Monday (bookings only): – 3:30pm – 9pm
Tuesday (Ages 7-12 years old & bookings only): – 3:30pm – 8pm
Springboard Family Day on the second Sunday of every month, which allows Springboard members and their families to join in on the fun at the Youth Zone.
Warrington Youth Zone has a range of accessibility features including -
Access to aids such as ear defenders, sensory activities and quiet spaces when needed.
Staff trained in approaches for behaviour and awareness.
Accessible toilets.
Hygiene Suite with tracker hoist and bed.
Accessible building with lifts to all floors.
