Staff from Creed Foodservice took part in a Creed Active WellChild Step Up Challenge. Between them, 128 Creed staff walked an incredible total of 11,092 miles, well over two million steps, to support children with exceptional health needs across the UK.

Each member of the Creed team made an extra effort to walk to work, go for a run, take the stairs instead the lift and even trek up mountains to complete the challenge to cover 10,000 miles in one month. Together the team raised a whopping £10,000 for WellChild.

Creed Foodservice staff have worked hard to support WellChild’s work over seven years. Their efforts have seen them take part in WellChild’s Helping Hands garden makeover programme, volunteering and donating refreshments at WellChild events, and raising vital funds for the charity through golf days, the London Marathon and the Creed staff lottery.

WellChild Chief Executive Colin Dyer said: “We are very grateful to everyone at Creed Foodservice who goes above and beyond to support our work. It was great to hear about the many and varied ways they covered the 10,000 miles in their Step Up Challenge. “Their support over the years has been invaluable and all of the money raised will help greatly with our work to support seriously ill children and their families”.

“WellChild is a national charity working to ensure the best possible care and support for children living with complex health conditions. We are delighted to have been supporting the charity for over seven years, working closely with the team on various events. The Step Up Challenge was a valuable and engaging event for both the charity and Creed employees, and we could not have been prouder to have supported them with this. We look forward to future fundraising events with WellChild.”
