Play Inclusion Project – Wyre Holiday Club
Wyre Activity Club is open to children & young people aged 4-18 with additional needs & disabilities. Holiday Clubs offer Short Breaks to Parents & Carers of Children with additional needs & disabilities during the school holidays. Children & young people get the opportunity to participate in a number of exciting activities. The sessions include: arts, crafts, dance, drama, sports based activities and sensory sessions. We also go on a lot of trips out in the local community, which include: The Space Centre, The Blackpool Zoo, Liverpool & many more. Cost: £15 per session.

Play Inclusion Project – Preston Space Sensory Sessions
Play Inclusion Project Preston Team run two Space Sensory Sessions for children & young people aged 4-18 with additional needs & disabilities. One for our younger age group (Age 4-9) and one for our young people (Age 10-18). They have the opportunity to be active & socialise with other children & young people. It also gives them the chance to be independent as possible in a fun & safe environment. After the Space Sensory Session, the group walk over to McDonalds to enjoy an evening meal. To join Preston Groups you need to have Lancashire Break Time, Lancashire Break Time Plus, be on The Free School Meal Programme (HAF) or have a Social care Package. Price: £5 per Session + Money for Food.

Play Inclusion Project – Preston Group Holiday Club
Preston Holiday Clubs are open to children & young people aged 4-18 with additional needs & disabilities. There are two clubs, one for our younger age group (Age 4-9) and one for our young people (Age 10-18). Holiday Clubs are funded by Lancashire County Council's Lancashire Break Time & Lancashire Break Time Plus. To join Preston Groups you need to have Lancashire Break Time, Lancashire Break Time Plus, be on The Free School Meal Programme (HAF) or have a Social care Package. Children & young people get the opportunity to participate in a number of exciting activities. The sessions include: arts, crafts, dance, drama, sports based activities and sensory sessions. We also go on a lot of trips out in the local community, which include: Blackpool Town Centre, Level, Dart Zone Blackburn & many more.

Swimming Session held once a month for children & young people aged 4-18 with additional needs & disabilities. Children and Young People have the opportunity to take part in a leisurely swim session with Support Staff. Funded by Lancashire County Council's Lancashire Break Time & Lancashire Break Time Plus. To join Preston Groups you need to have Lancashire Break Time, Lancashire Break Time Plus, be on The Free School Meal Programme (HAF) or have a Social care Package. Price: £5 per session.

Play Inclusion Project – Blackpool Group Saturday Club
Saturday Clubs offer Short Breaks to Parents & Carers of Children with additional needs & disabilities every Saturday throughout the year (excluding some holidays). To join the group referrals are made via your social worker. Blackpool Saturday Club is open to children & young people aged 8-18 with complex to severe additional needs and/or disabilities. Young people are given the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of in-house activities and trips. These trips include: tram journeys, zoo trips, farm trips and much more! In house days are themed and involve sensory play, arts and crafts, outside play, role play and construction.

There are also lots of trips out in the local community including: The Space Centre, Swimming, Blackpool Zoo, Bowling & many more. Price: £15 per Session.

Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice
Ty Hafan is a children's hospice, providing care to children with life-shortening conditions. Ty Hafan are able to support with end of life care, symptom management, crisis and emergency respite stays, therapy* and sensory play input. Support is provided within the hospice and also in communities and family homes across Wales. Their specialist, personalised support also extends to parents, siblings and other family members, to give them strength, make treasured memories together and improve their quality of life. * Range of therapies include music therapy, play therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and complementary therapies such as massage and aromatherapy. Ty Hafan also have a hydrotherapy pool on site. There is also an accessible playground within the grounds.

Kidz to Adultz Exhibitions
Kidz to Adultz deliver FREE exhibitions across the UK for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, their parents, carers and the professionals who support them. This event provides access to information, support, equipment, products and services with over 100+ exhibitors. Running alongside the exhibition there are 10 free CPD accredited seminars on a range of topics delivered by renowned experts in the field of disability and additional needs. Blackpool FC Community Trust Stars Camp is for disabled young. There are many activities to choose from at Stars Camp including multi skill activities, recreational area, games room (Wii sport, Xbox 360 & table football), additional sports and much more. Stars Camp runs during half term and summer holidays. Suitable for 7 - 18 year olds living with a disability from the Flyde Coast (Blackpool, FLyde and Wyre). Free minibus service available for Stars Camp participants.
