Y Bont is a specialist and unique child and family centre, which provides a unique range of day services for children with disabilities, complex medical conditions, emerging Autism, Down syndrome, visual impairment, hearing impairment, and their families. They offer help and advice to parents/carers and provide respite services 51 weeks a year, 6 days a week. Referrals can come via health professionals, social services, or directly from a parent/carer. Children are welcomed from 6 weeks up to 12 years old. Facilities include: sensory room, parents room, soft play area, play room, quiet room, and movement room.

Dundee Disabled Children’s Association
Dundee Disabled Children's Association is a small, local independent charity providing activities and support for children and young people with physical and/or learning disabilities and their families. We were established in 1902. We have three evening family support groups each week for children and young people aged 5 to 20 with disabilities. We also have a a fully accessible play and activity centre. All our groups cost nothing to attend! We employ two full-time staff and two part-time (12 hours per week each) staff.

Peartree Short Break Centre supports children from ages 5 to 18 years- offers residential short breaks at a spacious 5 bedroom purpose built centre, with safe areas for play, relaxation and socialising. There is a sensory room and a sensory garden with a swing. There is a soft play room with interactive smart board, a games room, and living area to spend time with friends. The centre is fully equipped to cater for complex needs .

Home from Home – Short Break Scheme
The short break scheme is a good quality, fun, positive activity that children or young people with disabilities can attend, where they can do things they enjoy, have new experiences and develop new skills. It helps provide positive outcomes for the child or young person and prepares them for life as an adult, increasing their independence. These breaks can take the form of: Leisure activities outside of the home Daytime care in the home or elsewhere Overnight care in the home or elsewhere Specialist activities during the evenings, weekends and school holidays.

SENSE Family Centre – Sandwell
SENSE centres offer a place for people who are deafblind and with complex disabilities to build connections by developing communication skills and independence, meeting other people, being creative with arts and crafts, and taking part in sport and exercise – all supported by skilled, specialist staff. The building is fully accessible with ramps, lifts and wide doorways. Activities may include: Swimming, music, cooking, dancing, yoga, Zumba, pottery, woodwork, horse riding, trampolining, climbing, gardening, sensory rooms, cinema, zoo, IT skills, and life-skills.
