Dusk till Dawn
Dusk till Dawn's purpose is to financially assist severely disabled people of all ages, individually or in groups to enable them to have access to equipment which will make a positive difference to their quality of life. They cover the East Midlands and the West Midlands regions as well as the counties of South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire in the UK. Applications are welcomed from individuals, professional workers and representatives of organisations and institutions. Where the request is from a private individual, a letter of support from a professional worker involved with the disabled person, (e.g. therapist, doctor, teacher) is essential.

Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust
The Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust provides life enhancing grants to help people of all ages in need who are ill, convalescent or disabled. These grants are used to provide medical and household aids to alleviate sickness and make a huge difference to people’s ability to manage at home and live as independently as possible. They do not fund holidays but we will provide grants towards respite and convalescent breaks in nursing and convalescent homes and organised specialist breaks for children and young adults are considered to give the carer at home a well earned rest. The application should be made on behalf of the client by someone with a medical background or one of the following: - Social workers - Occupational therapists - District Nurses - Health centre staff - Other charities - Citizens Advice Bureau

Independence at Home
Independence at Home is a charity that provides grants to people of all ages who have a physical or learning disability or long term illness and who are in financial need. This financial help enables them to obtain mobility and disability equipment, home adaptations and other essential items to make an immediate, practical and positive effect on daily life at home. A grant could be towards: - A powered wheelchair, improving mobility in and around the home and in the local community. - A riser-recliner chair, to be able to sit comfortably and go from sitting to standing more easily. - A wet room, to be able to have a shower independently and safely. They only accept grant applications from health or social care professionals, or advisors or support workers from other organisations or charities.

AFK – Working With Disability
AFK helps children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse to live more independent, fulfilling lives. They fund mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people age 0-25. They also deliver a range of training, advocacy and employment services for young people with learning disabilities age 14-25.
