Our Space Disco
Our Space Disco is for people with disabilities aged 16 and over and runs on the last Saturday of every month. It is a great opportunity to meet up with others, socialise and have a dance to great tunes played by DJ Steven. Refreshments available to buy and use of the outdoor space during lighter months. Over 16's only. If you are an adult with a disability, you can either come independently or if you need support your carer/PA can attend with you. Please see website for more details and disco dates.

Our Space Social Evening
A session for older teenagers and adults with a disability to relax, socialise and make new friends. Our Space adult Social Group runs every Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. If you are an adult with a disability, you can either come independently, or if you need support, you can bring your carer/ PA with you. The Adult Social Group gives you the chance to relax, socialise and meet other people and to join in with a range of activities including karaoke, board games, table tennis and pool as well as making the most of the outdoor space during the lighter evenings.

Our Space Friday Club
Friday Club session runs weekly from 6.30pm to 9.00pm. Whether it’s playing table tennis, riding round the grounds on bikes or just sitting chatting, our Friday Club provides a weekly place to young adults aged 18 and over to meet up with friends and to enjoy themselves! This is a respite session so members are supported by our team of experienced staff and volunteers while parents have the opportunity to spend a couple of hours doing other things…a spot of shopping or maybe a meal out!

It provides a safe space for teenagers to meet up with friends, be physically active in our grounds and to relax and have fun! This is a respite session, so members are supported by a team of experienced staff and volunteers while parents have the opportunity to spend a couple of hours doing other things…a spot of shopping or maybe a meal out!

Our Space
Our Space is a charity providing play and social opportunities for children, young people and adults who have disabilities. Centre has a secure outdoor space, large soft play area with wheelchair accessible ground floor and hoist access for ball pool and a quieter sensory corner, multi-purpose rooms including arts and crafts/dining area. Kitchen area and accessible toilet facilities and bathroom area which includes a ceiling tracking hoist, an adjustable-height portable changing/shower bed, shower, and toilet and sink with hand rails. Our Space offers a variety of sessions for children, young people and families as well as Family Fun Days, playschemes and holiday programmes. The Hideaway – Inspiring Dads
Inspiring Dads is the name of a project which is part of The Hidaway extensive Family & Education team support including dedicated Dad's keyworker - Andy. Inspiring Dads offers courses, workshops and meet ups for Dads, including a new Dads course, Dad & Kid Lego, play sessions, and Dad's wellbeing course. Andy is available for formal and informal mentoring and support over a brew or walk as you try to figure it all out. There are drop-in sessions, with or without kids, to meet other dads and give each other a little encouragement.

The Hideaway – Our Club
Children with SEND can visit The Hideaway when it's a little quieter and space is made more friendly for particular needs. Regular SEND sessions offered all year round. The sessions will feature visual supports to assist with using the space, turning off the music and hand dryers and having a range of special themed activities each week. Visit on Tuesdays at 4.30pm-6.30pm for SEND sessions. It's ideal for children aged 5-9 and can cater for the whole family. Other support for SEND families include now and next boards, visual timetable, social stories and picture food and drink menu.

Our Club Higher uses the Hideout Educational Community space and is great for children aged 9-12 who need a higher level of supervision. This group is invitation only so if you have a child who may benefit, please get in touch with the team and discuss with them. Group runs on Tuesdays.

Play centre specifically designed for children aged 0 - 8 years offering support for families and to help children in their learning and development. Sensory room, soft play, creative area, construction zone and role play village, café and games area. Staff offer a range of additional support to all families including free parenting workshops and other similar training courses. A qualified SENCo and staff are trained to deliver the WellComm speech and language assessment and can refer your child if you're concerned. Toy library is open to all children. Award-winning Children’s centre with Soft Play, Sensory Room, Cafe and home corner. Funtastic Fridays - Youth club for all abilities/disabilities friends and family. With so much going on including table tennis, pool, crafts, games, live music, DJ and karaoke. It is a great place for parents/carers to build friendships and valuable support networks. Fridays 5pm - 7pm. £3 entrance for kids, £1.50 adult entrance.

Calm Climbing at Rock Up
Calm Climbing Sessions for SEND Visitors. Climbing is a fantastic way to burn off some energy while having mountains of fun. During calm climbing sessions, created for our visitors with Autism and SEND in mind, music is turned off and there are fewer climbers in the arena to create a calmer and quieter environment. Family and siblings also welcome to climb.
