Their inclusive services support and empower children (and their grownups) to access play within the local community, fostering self worth, confidence and emotional resilience. The Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse
Join the Gruffalo and Friends on a magical adventure through 6 different play zones including a soft play, toddler area, sensory room and woodland café. Includes meet and greet with the Gruffalo and other characters and gift shop. Some of the play structures have been designed to be accessible for guests with reduced mobility requirements please see website for more details. Accessible bathroom and changing facilities available. The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse welcomes all assistance animals and guide dogs, however they are not permitted to play on the structures / equipment. Noise cancelling head phones available upon entry, subject to availability. The Gruffalo's Child Sensory Room is available upon request for guests who require some quieter time and child friendly social stories available to download.

Peter Rabbit™ Explore and Play
Interactive multi-sensory family attraction based on the animated TV series. A 45 minute adventure including play areas, sensory rooms, learning and discovery areas and a chance to meet the characters. Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play is located on the ground floor with no additional access levels. For safety reasons, motorised scooters are not permitted within Peter Rabbit™: Explore and Play. Strobe lighting is used in parts of the attraction and can be switched off upon request. Free entry to carers or essential companions of those with disabilities. The toilets are all located on ground level with disabled access and a Changing Places toilet. Assistance animals welcome. Disabled parking nearby.

Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Madame Tussauds Blackpool is a wax museum and features over 80 wax figures of celebrities, film and television characters, athletes and musicians. Madame Tussauds is fully accessible and one carer is welcome without charge. Strobe lighting is used in parts of the attraction and can be switched off upon request. Assistance dogs are welcome. For safety reasons, only three wheelchair users can be accepted in the building at any one time and it is strongly advised that you pre-book in advance. For safety reasons, motorised scooters are not permitted within Madame Tussauds Blackpool. Lift available for disabled guests and disabled toilet facilities.

Blackpool Tower Dungeons
Blackpool Tower Dungeons is a highly sensory experience with dark spaces, loud noises, flashing/strobe lights, pungent smells and jump scares. Throughout the attraction, there is a combination of seated shows, and standing shows. At the end of the immersive experience, there is also a drop ride. The Blackpool Tower Dungeon is fully wheelchair accessible. Navigating around the Dungeon will be mainly through level pathways. However, due to the nature of the attraction, some floor surfaces are uneven. For safety reasons, only 1 wheelchair user per tour group can be admitted. The experience features special effects, including fog and smell effects throughout. There is an accessible toilet, which is available at the entrance of the attraction. Assistance dogs are welcome into the attraction, however please note that smells or sounds may startle them. Ear defenders, headphones and sensory packs available at request.

Blackpool Tower Eye and 4D Cinema Experience
Take a trip to the top of the tower with views across the North West of England spread over Bowland, up to the Lake District and on a clear day down to Liverpool and across to the Isle of Man. Head out onto the five-centimetre thick glass viewing platform, where you can look out into the Irish Sea and see the famous Blackpool Promenade below. Entrance includes tickets to interactive 4D cinema experience. The Blackpool Tower building can accommodate all guests with a disability, with the exception of guests using mobility scooters. However, complimentary wheelchairs are available. Please note, the 4D Cinema is a highly sensory experience, using a number of effects including strobe lighting, sound, wind, rain, snow, vibrating floors, and various moving lights. Once at the 4D Cinema this can be bypassed by speaking to a staff member, and exiting through the back of the Cinema. Nearby disabled parking is available.

Science and Industry Museum
Explore 250 years of innovations and ideas that started life in Manchester and went on to change the world. Highlights include hands on science fun, ultimate gaming experience and early years activities. There is step-free access to all floors and wheelchair accessible lifts which have tactile labelling and some have audio announcements. There is a Quiet Room within the Textiles Gallery on Level 0 of the New Warehouse for use by anyone who needs some quiet time. Visual Stories, ear defenders and sensory toy packs are available. Accessible toilets, baby changing facilities, all gender facilities and Changing Places toilet equipped with hoist, changing bench and centrally located toilet. The toilet is accessible with a RADAR key. There are 3 blue badge parking spaces in front of the museum on Lower Byrom Street. These operate on a first come, first served basis. Working guide and assistance animals are welcome at the museum.

World Museum
Discover incredible objects from around the world, explore outer space and meet live creatures! Limited number of wheelchairs are available to hire. The Planetarium is accessible for wheelchair users and can accommodate two wheelchair users per show. Please call ahead to the Box Office if you would like to arrange a companion ticket. - Some videos and interactives throughout World Museum have subtitles or British Sign Language. - Trained guide, hearing and assistance animals are allowed in the museum. - There are toilets on all floors and they are all accessible to wheelchair users. There is a Changing Places toilet on the first floor. - Lifts are available to all floors. - There are a limited number of blue badge parking spaces on William Brown Street, outside the museum. Please note the road surface is cobbled. Relaxed sessions and inclusion days available throughout the year. - Visual stories available to view before visit.

Enjoy exhibitions, craft activities, talks and presentations in the Library, Museum, Art Gallery and Aquarium. The museum welcomes visitors with disabilities, including families with children and adults on the autism spectrum. Inside the museum and galleries there are a variety of displays and exhibitions which include interactive touch screens which can be accessed from a sitting or standing position, oral interpretation exhibits, interpretation boards with pictures and large text. Some of the accessibility features include: - Social story available to download to help visitors prepare for their visit. - Children's ear defenders available to borrow in all library and museum spaces. - Magnifying glass, pen and pad of paper available on request - Staff trained in disability awareness. - Within the museum there is a shop, toilets and changing places. - On street, Blue Badge parking spaces available on Le Mans Crescent. Main entrance door is automatic and accessible by wheelchair users.
